Rental Terms and Conditions

1. Client Responsibilities

1.1 The Client is responsible for arranging and covering all costs associated with the safe transportation of rented materials to and from the designated locations.

1.2 The full rental fee must be paid in advance prior to the collection of backdrops, and the Client must fully comply with these terms and conditions.

2. Condition and Return of Backdrops

2.1 Backdrops must be returned in a clean, tightly rolled, and properly aligned condition. Failure to do so will incur a $100 service fee, which will be deducted from the security deposit.

2.2 In the event of loss, theft, or damage, the Client will be liable for the replacement or repair fee, determined upon assessment of the backdrop in question.

2.3 The security deposit will be fully refunded upon the safe and timely return of the backdrop, subject to assessment of its condition.

3. Late Returns

3.1 Late returns of backdrops will incur a charge equivalent to a full day's rental fee for each day late. This fee will be deducted from the security deposit.

4. Ownership

4.1 All rental backdrops remain the exclusive property of MCB Studio Backdrops.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 If a booking is canceled within 24 hours of the rental period, 50% of the hire costs will be retained. This does not include the security deposit, which will be refunded in full if applicable.

Rental credit card payments are driven by Stripe. Paypal and Direct Deposit is also available.

1.1. By placing an order with us or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Orders/Purchases

2.1 All orders/purchases are subject to availability and acceptance by the Company.

2.2 The Company reserves the right to refuse any order at its discretion.

3. Payment

3.1 Payment for products or services must be made in full at the time of ordering.

3.2 Prices are subject to change without notice.

4. Refunds and Returns

4.1 Change of Mind: The Company does not accept returns or provide refunds for products or services purchased due to a change of mind.

4.2 Faulty or Incorrect Items: If you receive a faulty or incorrect item, please contact us within 2 days of receipt. The Company will assess the issue and, if appropriate, provide a replacement, repair, or refund at its discretion.

4.3 Exclusions: Certain products or services may be excluded from refunds or returns based on their nature, as specified at the time of purchase.

5. Delivery

5.1 The Company will make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery, but does not guarantee delivery dates.

5.2 Delivery costs for purchases online are built into the price structure.  For custom orders freight costs will be added to any pricing provided by the Company.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of its products or services.

6.2 The Company’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Governing Law

7.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia.

7.2 Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
