TAKING CARE OF YOUR CANVAS BACKDROP
Give it a clean and dry storage spot, rolled up or hanging with care. Be mindful that certain colors and textures, such as dark, light, or flat-painted backdrops, might display more noticeable creases, dirt, or marks. If you're transporting it, wrap it up tightly and securely to prevent any damage or abrasions.
For hanging, we use cloth tape to attach the canvas to a PVC pipe, but if you prefer a more secure hold, gaffer tape is your best buddy.
Be careful not to damage the backdrops with water, sharp objects, or abrasive materials. Refrain from walking on them while wearing heels, and if models must wear heels, have them put them on after they're on the canvas.
If cleaning is necessary, use a damp cloth for spot cleaning or gently sweep with a broom or dustpan brush.
HANGING A BACKDROP
Use a two inch margin around the edge of the canvas for securing. Hang the backdrop along any edge using clamps. Alternatively thread a crossbar through the pvc pipe and secure. If you have to tape the backdrop to a wall again just use the 2 inch edge of the canvas.
We hope you enjoy using your MCB Studio Backdrops hand painted drop.
