Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Client Responsibilities
1.1 The Client is responsible for arranging and covering all costs associated with the safe transportation of rented materials to and from the designated locations.
1.2 The full rental fee must be paid in advance prior to the collection of backdrops, and the Client must fully comply with these terms and conditions.
2. Condition and Return of Backdrops
2.1 Backdrops must be returned in a clean, tightly rolled, and properly aligned condition. Failure to do so will incur a $100 service fee, which will be deducted from the security deposit. Backdrops not returned with provided straps & plastic tubing will incur a $50 replacement fee.
2.2 In the event of loss, theft, or damage, the Client will be liable for the replacement or repair fee, determined upon assessment of the backdrop in question.
2.3 The security deposit will be fully refunded upon the safe and timely return of the backdrop, subject to assessment of its condition.
3. Late Returns
3.1 Late returns of backdrops will incur a charge equivalent to a full day's rental fee for each day late. This fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
4. Ownership
4.1 All rental backdrops remain the exclusive property of MCB Studio Backdrops.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental period will incur a charge of 50% of the hire fee. The security deposit, if applicable, will be refunded in full.
5.2 Cancellations made within 12 hours of the rental period or scheduled pick-up time will incur a travel fee of $150 (including GST), in addition to the 50% hire fee retention outlined in clause 5.1.
Rental credit card payments are driven by Stripe and Direct Deposit is also available.
